Full Job Description

**Core Duties:**

  • Deliver a comprehensive range of outcome-focused nurse practitioner services in line with the privileges granted by the MTF. This includes supervising and providing general medical screenings, examinations, and care for patients with routine, acute, and chronic conditions across all organ systems; administering immunizations; diagnosing, treating, and counseling patients as necessary.
  • Technically lead and educate the staff by delivering evidence-based educational lectures and participating in in-service training to enhance the skills of team members.
  • Diagnose and treat patients with common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor traumas in accordance with accepted protocols, clinical practice guidelines, and the Nurse Practice Acts, or in collaboration with a physician.
  • Encourage preventive care and health maintenance through annual physicals, promoting positive health behaviors, and offering self-care education through both formal and personalized counseling.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals to keep the healthcare team informed of plans and actions, offering practical teaching and education to benefit patients, families, and the organization.
  • Identify conditions that necessitate isolation and ensure the implementation of universal precautions during all patient interactions.
  • Participate in staff meetings to engage in case discussions, facilitate continuing education, and contribute to continuous quality improvement and safety initiatives.

**Work Schedule:**

Monday to Friday, between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with a maximum of 40 hours per week.No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call or callback duties.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

* **Education:** Master’s in Nursing or a Bachelor’s in Physician Assistant Studies.* **Experience:** A minimum of 2 years in a family practice or primary care setting within the last 3 years.* **License:** Active, unrestricted nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in any state.* **Board Certification:** ANCC or AANP for Nurse Practitioners; NCCPA for Physician Assistants.* **Life Support Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.* **Security Clearance:** Must pass a governmental background check and obtain a government security clearance.
