Physician Assistant Position

This Pediatric Neurology Physician Assistant Position will be responsible for participating on primarily evaluating and managing patients with Autism & ADHD; under physician supervision. Clinical activity services includes Telemedicine and In-office patient encounters; manage medications and referrals; supervise and participate on Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations (CDE). Additional opportunities might include managing patients with Seizures/Epilepsy and Headaches/Migraines.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities includes:

• Welcome all patients and answers parents calling for questions in a professional caring manner.
• Document all patient care in our EMR
• Supervise Medical Assistants and other supportive staff
• Abide, orient and help others (patients and staff) follow established office policies and procedures.
• Finish the end of the day closing duties.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in cross training to be able to cover according to practice needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certification required.
• One (1) year of medical experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).

• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to be collaborative and effectively communicate with patient.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations; respond promptly to customer’s needs; solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Ability to have strong sense of urgency and be proactive.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with stressful situations.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Job Type:

• Full time.

Salary/Compensation:

• $100,000.00-110,000.00 per year
• $50-55.00 per hour
