Physician Assistant (PA) – Psychiatry & Holistic Wellness
Practice: Psychiatry in Motion
Location: Primarily in-person (Manhattan, NYC), occasional hybrid flexibility
Position: Part-Time (20 hrs/week), with strong potential for Full-Time growth
Compensation: $65,000–$70,000/year (part-time equivalent), plus performance-based bonuses

Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Medication Management & Brief Therapy:
- Independently conduct initial psychiatric intakes (in-person, Manhattan) and 30-minute follow-up sessions (primarily in-person) focusing on psychiatric medication management integrated with brief, wellness-oriented therapy.
- Directly collaborate with the founder for initial mentorship and ongoing support—available nearby (virtually or in-person) when needed.
- Clinical Autonomy & Documentation:
- Independently manage clinical documentation, treatment plans, and patient communications via intuitive EMRs.
- Coordinate efficiently with our dedicated Virtual Assistant, ensuring you can focus primarily on patient care.
- Holistic Wellness & Active Engagement:
- Actively embody and promote our practice’s philosophy: incorporating physical activity, lifestyle optimization, creative engagement, and preventive mental health strategies into every patient interaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in New York State.
- Demonstrated competence in managing psychiatric medications; previous psychiatric experience is strongly preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated, proactive applicants.
- High autonomy and self-directed work ethic; you thrive on independence and owning your workflow.
- Comfortable and efficient with technology, including navigating EMRs, telehealth platforms, and modern clinical tools (e.g., AI-driven documentation assistance).
- Passionate advocate for physical health, preventive wellness, and holistic mental health approaches—actively living and promoting this lifestyle yourself.
