About Us:Specialty Care Clinics is a leading multi-specialty medical group with state-of-the-art facilities across Texas. Our mission is to provide high-quality, individualized care to our patients through innovation, compassion, and dedication. We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) with orthopedic experience to join our team in Dallas, TX, working directly alongside a skilled orthopedic surgeon.

Position Overview:The ideal candidate is a motivated and experienced PA who is passionate about musculoskeletal care and injury management. This role includes both clinical and procedural responsibilities in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. You will work closely with our orthopedic surgeon to deliver comprehensive care for patients with sports injuries, fractures, joint disorders, and other orthopedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial patient evaluations, follow-ups, and post-operative assessments
  • Assist the orthopedic surgeon in clinical procedures and minor in-office surgeries
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and lab results
  • Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and rehabilitation
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, case managers, and other team members
  • Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately in the EMR
  • Support in workers compensation and personal injury cases, including documentation and communication with attorneys or case managers
  • Assist with pre- and post-operative care, including dressing changes, splinting, casting, and suture removal

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas
  • Minimum 1–2 years of orthopedic or musculoskeletal experience required
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a supervising orthopedic surgeon
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and orthopedic documentation
  • Experience with workers compensation and personal injury cases a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
