Full Job Description
Granite Peaks Gastroenterology is seeking either a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work in clinic at our Sandy, Utah and Lehi, Utah location. The candidate will provide services to patients including, but not limited to ambulatory care, taking health histories, performing assessments, conducting health education and counseling. The successful candidate will consult with physicians as needed and refers to physicians for more complicated medical cases or cases that are not a routine part of a nurse practitioner’s scope of practice.
We prefer applicants with gastroenterology experience. A current Utah Nurse Practitioner license or Utah Physician Assistant license and Utah Controlled substance license, DEA certificate schedule II-V, current BLS and ACLS cards are required.
Competitive salary and benefit package available. Practice hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
