Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant (Locum – Ongoing)

Location: Ontario, CASetting: Hospital & Clinic

Shifts: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm (Saturday’s possible – Overtime hours/Additional Shift) Estimated 6 Outpatient Clinic Procedures/Patients per day, plus rounding the last 2 hours on 1-5 patients inpatient/hospital

Pay Rate: $100 – $140 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant to join our team in Ontario, CA. This locum position offers a M-F schedule, no on call, possible Saturday’s at Overtime or Additional Shift, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Key Responsibilities for a Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant:

• Primary Procedures: 0 Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Minor Ultrasound Guided Biopsies, Minor CT guided Biopsies.
• Fluoroscopy Procedures: Hip and shoulder injections/Arthrograms, Dye Study, Nephrostomy Tube Exchanges, Biliary Tube Exchanges, G Tube Exchanges, Catheter Removals, PICC line Placement.
• If the Provider does not have a Fluoroscopy Supervisory Permit, they need to be experienced in paracentesis, thoracentesis, minor guided procedures, and CT-guided procedures.

Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant Requirements:

• Licensed Physical Assistant experience
• EPIC experience
• May consider Surgical PA or ER PA with extensive experience doing Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, and Lymph Node Biopsies specifically.
• Must have experience in those areas to be credentialed with case logs.
