Seeking Experienced Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Salary

• Excellent compensation with an estimated employed W-2 base pay range of $60/hour to $87/hour PLUS comprehensive USACS benefits and a 10% company-funded 401k.

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

• ED Volume: 46,000
• Renovations are underway for a brand new, state-of-the-art ED
• Level II Trauma Center is fully equipped with the newest advanced airway equipment for rapid resuscitation, ultrasound machines, on-site CT scanning, and separate entrances to receive patients from ground transport or rooftop helipad
• 44 hours per day of physician coverage
• 40 hours per day of APP coverage
• 24 hours per day of pediatric physician coverage
• 54 all-private treatment rooms, private family rooms, 24-hour concierge service for patient families, on-campus pagers for visitors and many other services geared to increasing patient satisfaction
• Pediatric Center is a separate, child-friendly area of ER-7 with play areas, full-time pediatric emergency physicians and pediatric trained nurses
• Academic facility with multiple residencies (IM, surgery, OB, orthopedics, etc.) that rotate through the ED
• The chest pain evaluation center is the cornerstone of one of the most advanced cardiac care facilities in the region
• Features extensive monitoring with the ambulance to hospital EKG transfer system and advanced cardiac stress tests
• Cerner EMR system

HOSPITAL

A 467-bed-not-for-profit teaching hospital with volumes of 55,000 adult and 15,000 pediatric visits annually. Member of Lifebridge Health Medical Services, along with Northwest Hospital Center and Grace Medical Center. Patient services include medical/surgical, acute, psychiatric and rehab and the hospital specialty is traumatic brain injury. ER-7 Medical Pavilion with seven specialized emergency centers under one roof: urgent care, chest pain, emergent care, trauma, pediatric care, fast track and observation.
