Physician Assistant Opportunity – Interventional Radiology

We are proud to support our Interventional Radiologists through a robust and continuously expanding Advanced Practice Provider (APP) program. Our APPs play an integral role in enhancing patient care, streamlining workflows, and supporting procedural efficiency.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on, procedural-focused role offering the opportunity to work alongside Interventional Radiologists to deliver top-quality patient care.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with a supervising physician
- Perform a wide range of procedures including:

- Thoracentesis and paracentesis
- Insertion and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters, and ports
- CT- and ultrasound-guided biopsies
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including health histories and physical exams
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide discharge education
- Participate in rounds and document patient progress in EMR

- Exceptional interpersonal and clinical communication skills

- EMR proficiency and strong organizational skills
Qualifications:
Required:
- National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Certification
- Current PA License
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
Preferred:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or surgical procedures
- Texas PA License
Physical & Work Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift 25–50 lbs. as needed.
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, and fingers.
- Work involves exposure to patients with contagious illnesses.
- Must be available to work rotating shifts, holidays, and during inclement weather as part of a 24/7 healthcare facility.
