Job Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Interventional Spine & Neurosurgery (Non-Operative)Location: Sun City, ArizonaSchedule Options:
- Part-Time: 20 hours/week (2 clinic days plus ½ day for administrative time)
- Full-Time: 4 clinic days/week (mix of interventional spine/pain and orthopedic spine surgery clinic)
Setting: Outpatient Clinic | Non-Operative Spine & Pain ManagementTravel Requirements: NoneOn-Call Requirements: None
Compensation & Benefits
- Total Compensation Potential: Up to $145,000 annually, with opportunity to earn more through additional workload

What We’re Looking For
You are a proactive and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for spine care, neurology, or musculoskeletal medicine. You thrive in a specialty clinic setting, enjoy patient continuity, and appreciate the opportunity to work closely with experienced providers in a collaborative, team-based model. Your clinical approach is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and grounded in evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient evaluations including comprehensive history-taking and physical exams for spine and pain-related conditions
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans involving interventional procedures, imaging, physical therapy, and medication management
- Manage follow-up visits and patient education, ensuring continuity and coordination of care
- Provide pre- and postoperative assessments (full-time role only)
- Document care accurately in the EMR and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and referring providers
- Participate in a cohesive care model alongside a second experienced APP and clinical team
Candidate Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Arizona license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Prior experience in spine, pain management, or musculoskeletal care is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and proficiency with EMR systems
