Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop personalized care plans, and implement effective pain management strategies. Your expertise in acute care, senior care, and various medical settings will be essential in helping patients achieve optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ pain levels and overall health status.
- Develop and implement individualized pain management plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding pain management techniques and health coaching.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on data collection and feedback.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital settings to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in the management of durable medical equipment (DME) related to pain management.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; experience in pain management preferred.
- Background in acute care, medical-surgical nursing, or senior care is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in patient care, data collection, and health coaching.
- Familiarity with family planning practices is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating strong independent judgment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in pain management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
