Compensation & Incentives

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 annually (based on experience)
  • Bonus Plan: Quarterly performance-based incentive structure

About the Role

We are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a highly respected interventional pain management clinic in Tucson, Arizona. This position offers a structured Monday–Friday schedule (four 10-hour shifts), no weekend coverage, and the opportunity to play an integral role in improving quality of life for patients managing chronic pain.

You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to evidence-based, minimally invasive treatment and patient-centered care.

Ideal Candidate

You are a clinically capable, patient-focused provider with a strong foundation in either pain management, internal medicine, orthopedics, or related specialties. You value collaboration, appreciate procedure-based care, and are dedicated to building therapeutic relationships with patients. New graduates with strong clinical judgment and a demonstrated interest in pain medicine will also be considered.

Primary Duties

  • Perform new patient evaluations, follow-ups, and pre-/post-procedure assessments
  • Review imaging, labs, and diagnostic results to support care planning
  • Partner with supervising physicians to develop personalized treatment strategies
  • Assist with procedures including:
  • Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
  • Epidural Steroid Injections
  • Medial Branch Blocks
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Minuteman Device Implantation
  • Conduct in-scope outpatient procedures independently
  • Prescribe and manage medications per clinical protocol and state regulations
  • Provide patient education on treatment options, expected outcomes, and home care
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in the EHR system
  • Support discharge coordination and care continuity
  • Participate in a limited, shared after-hours call schedule

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based NP or PA program

(Note: Programs located in Puerto Rico are not eligible)

  • Active or eligible Arizona licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Board certification (FNP-C, NP-C, or PA-C)
  • DEA registration (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, or internal medicine
  • Considered: Motivated new graduates with strong clinical aptitude and interest in interventional pain
