Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant on a to join our team at New Era Healthcare Inc. We have full-time and part-time roles available. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients in their homes, ensuring they receive the attention and treatment they need in a comfortable setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of Virginia.
- Strong knowledge of primary care and urgent care practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
- Experience with triage and critical care is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical record systems and documentation standards.
