Physician Assistant – Surgery | Permanent Role

• Perform comprehensive or focused physical exams and medical histories.
• Assess patients’ physical and mental health conditions.
• Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab work.
• Prescribe or recommend drug therapies and therapeutic treatments.
• Perform indicated procedures in line with approved protocols.
• Formulate and implement evidence-based, outcomes-focused treatment plans.
• Evaluate and document patient responses and treatment effectiveness.
• Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Counsel patients about medication regimens, side effects, and interactions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required, including vein harvesting experience.

Licensure/Certification:

• Physician Assistant (PA) License-State of Texas (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)-Must be obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer
• NCCPA Certification-Current and valid.
