Physician Assistant-Cardiology | Permanent Role
- Location: Lakeway, TX 78738
- Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient evaluations, obtain medical history, conduct physical exams, and order diagnostic tests.
- Assist in diagnosing cardiac conditions and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of practice.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on cardiovascular conditions and lifestyle changes.
- Monitor and record patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in Cardiology or a related specialty.
Certifications/Licensure:
- PA License-Active and unrestricted in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
