Facility: This is a well-established cardiac care facility featuring specialized cardiac floors including 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, and a dedicated Cardiac ICU (3E). The facility houses 144 total beds and provides comprehensive cardiac services including nuclear stress testing, echo stress testing, and treadmill stress testing. The facility is designated as a Level 1 trauma center with state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative healthcare team.
Opportunity: This is an exceptional opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join a dynamic cardiology team providing both inpatient and outpatient care. The position offers a diverse clinical experience across general cardiology, heart failure, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology in both hospital and clinic settings.
Job Details:
- Start date: ASAP – Ongoing
- Clinic hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, hospital hours from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Looking for 1 APP who can offer 10+ shifts per month
- Responsibilities include patient floor call, inpatient hospital work, rounds, consults, and clinic coverage
- Telehealth options available for inclement weather days
- Call responsibilities include 4-5 patient calls on weekdays per month and 1 weekend per month (both in-house and beeper call)
- Outpatient clinic volume of approximately 19 patients per day
- Inpatient responsibilities include rounding on cardiology patients (general, heart failure, interventional & EP)
- Work with hospitalists on discharge planning
- Post-procedure follow-ups for heart failure, AMI, and EP hospital discharges
- Requires ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Active MO License or IMLC, BC
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30-45 days
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging. Estimated Hourly Rate: $90 – $125
