Position Opening: Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – Otolaryngology (ENT)Location: Sun City, ArizonaSchedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Standard Clinic HoursPractice Setting: Outpatient Otolaryngology Clinic

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 annually
  • Bonus Potential: Available; current APPs earn between $200,000 – $225,000 per year

Role SummaryThe Advanced Practice Provider will manage and treat ENT-related conditions in a structured outpatient setting, with opportunities to work autonomously while receiving physician support. Most patients are adult or Medicare-aged, though some pediatric cases are seen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage ear, nose, throat, and related disorders
  • Conduct and assist with in-office ENT procedures, such as:
  • Flexible and rigid endoscopy
  • Cerumen removal
  • Nasal and sinus debridement
  • Coordinate referrals for surgery and specialty care
  • Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic health record (eClinicalWorks preferred)
  • Participate in limited triage-only call rotation
  • Collaborate with clinic staff and ENT physicians to ensure continuity of care
  • Stay current on CME and certification requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Arizona
  • National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in otolaryngology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ENT oncology (e.g., thyroid, head/neck cancer)
  • Familiarity with pediatric ENT is a plus
  • Proficiency in eClinicalWorks
  • Comfortable managing 15–25 patients per day
  • Strong procedural skills or willingness to develop procedural expertise
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care
