Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This position requires strong diagnostic evaluation skills and a commitment to delivering compassionate care to patients across various demographics, including senior care and addiction counseling.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Administer radiation therapy and manage care for patients undergoing treatment.
- Provide family planning services and education to patients.
- Offer addiction counseling and support for patients dealing with substance use disorders.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology in patient interactions.
- Coordinate home care services and durable medical equipment (DME) needs for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and wellness strategies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Strong diagnostic evaluation skills with experience in radiation therapy preferred.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with family planning practices and senior care considerations.
- Proficient understanding of ICD-9 coding and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: $150,877.00 – $160,108.00 per year
