Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Urology Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of urological conditions in patients of all ages, including pediatric cases. This position offers the opportunity to work in a clinic setting, providing care in both clinic and hospital settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with urological disorders and provide outpatient clinic care.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including phlebotomy and catheterization, as needed. Manage and treat all urological conditions, including all genitourinary cancers, enlarged prostate, urinary incontinence, kidney stones, vasectomy, male health and sexual disfunction.
  • Order and study diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide urologic patient care in various settings, including office clinic and hospitals.
  • Educate patients and their families about urological health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as EClinicalWorks and Epic.
  • Stay current with advancements in urology through continuous education and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree as a PA from an accredited institution.
  • Active CA State License
  • Experience and prior training in Urology in a clinic setting.
  • Proficiency in performing urological procedures, including catheterization and phlebotomy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care across diverse populations, including pediatrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
