Advanced Practice Provider –

As a Advanced Practice Provider you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support the physicians and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, as well as communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduled patient services
  • Provide detailed chart notes that include patient histories and complete physical examinations
  • Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate diagnostic test
  • Counsel patients and/or family on health and disease
  • Adhere to the standards of medical ethics and laws governing patient care and the practice of medicine
  • Maintain good standing licensure with the Arizona Board of Nursing or the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants
  • Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities.
  • Comply with all federal and state regulations related to position
  • Comply with all company policies
  • Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a practicing provider
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
  • Licensed as an Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner by the Arizona Board of Nursing or Licensed as a Physician Assistant by Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants
  • EMR experience preferred (we use gMed)
  • Gastroenterology Experience preferred
  • Positive Team Player is a MUST

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
