Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mid-Level Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our female-owned ketamine clinic in Santa Monica. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering IVs, drawing up medication, and charting, with a warm bedside manner and a desire to provide high-quality care in a nurturing environment.
Experience or interest in ketamine/esketamine therapy and/or psychedelic medicine is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
- Administration of Ketamine: Collaborate with the physician to administer ketamine via IV to patients. Ensure accurate dosages and monitor patients throughout the infusion process.
- Patient Care: Provide a warm, safe, and supportive environment that fosters trust and facilitates healing. Engage with patients to ensure their comfort and address any concerns.
- Charting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using our electronic health record (EHR) system. Document patient progress and treatment outcomes comprehensively.
- Collaboration: Initially work closely with our Medical Director/physician, with the goal of transitioning to more independent practice while still under physician leadership.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices to ensure the well-being of patients during treatments.
Skills and Qualifications
- IV Administration Expertise: Must have extensive experience in starting and managing IVs, including administering infusion medications.
- EHR Familiarity: Proficiency with electronic health record systems is required.
- Patient-Centered Care: Ability to create and maintain a calm, loving, and safe environment for patients undergoing psychedelic medical treatments.
- Eskatamine/Spravato-EMS Experience: Knowledge of Spravato mandates is ideal.
- Psychiatric Care Experience: Experience in psychiatric care is a plus.
- Psychedelic Medicine Interest: Knowledge of or experience with ketamine therapy, and/or psychedelic medicine is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $75 per hour and up depending on experience
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
