Physician Assistant

Evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries (e.g., flu, fractures, lacerations, infections).

Perform physical exams, obtain medical histories, and order/interpret diagnostic tests.

Administer treatments, prescribe medications, and perform procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, incision and drainage).

Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers as needed.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.

Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Current state licensure and certification as a PA-C (NCCPA certified).

BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS certification (preferred or required depending on facility).

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a similar setting (preferred).

Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
