Facility: North Fulton Hospital
Wellstar Health System is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Electrophysiology Cardiology team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. This hybrid role offers a unique combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, supporting a dynamic and innovative electrophysiology program.
Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to cardiology patients with a focus on electrophysiology.

Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, and the cardiovascular team to manage patients with arrhythmias, implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders), and related cardiac conditions.

Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., ECG, Holter monitors, device interrogations), and develop treatment plans.

Support EP procedures, including pre- and post-procedural care.

Manage outpatient device clinics including routine and urgent device checks and follow-ups.

Participate in inpatient rounding, consults, admissions, discharges, and care coordination.

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and ongoing care.

Document all patient interactions and care accurately and timely in the EMR system (Epic).

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing education to support program growth.

Hybrid role with a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and procedure support
Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner (NP): Graduate of an accredited NP program; current Georgia NP license; board certification in Acute Care.

Physician Assistant (PA): Graduate of an accredited PA program; current Georgia PA license; NCCPA certification.

Minimum of 1–2 years of cardiology or electrophysiology experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations in cardiology and EP may be considered.

BLS and ACLS certification required.

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
