Job Description: Mission City Urology is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced urology practice with a blend of clinical and inpatient hospital responsibilities. We welcome both experienced practitioners and new graduates who are eager to grow and develop their skills in urology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic urological conditions under the supervision of a board-certified urologist.
- See patients in both the clinic (primary focus) and hospital settings.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Document patient encounters, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in hospital care and assist with inpatient management, including post-operative care.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical protocols and patient care standards.
- Participation and assistance in basic urological procedures
- Participation in practice call pool will be expected
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Texas.
- Certification from an accredited PA or NP program.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care to urology patients.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in urology or a related field is a plus but not required.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $133,776.00 per year
