Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including home care, occupational health, and pain management. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, performing diagnostic evaluations, and collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for managing acute care situations and emergency medicine as needed, ensuring adherence to established medical standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret lab results to inform treatment decisions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Manage acute care situations and provide emergency medical assistance when required.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including airway management techniques.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and preventive care strategies.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient information.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with medical practices and standards.
- Assist in neonatal ventilator management when necessary, ensuring the highest level of care for pediatric patients.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Active state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience in home care, occupational health, pain management, or similar fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks.
- Strong clinical skills in acute care and emergency medicine settings.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Pay: $65.00 – $80.00 per hour
