Position Summary:Our Client is seeking an experienced and energetic Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Family Practice teamThis is a full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to serve a diverse, multicultural patient population in a mission-driven community health centerThe ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and experienced in managing pediatric, adult medicine, and gynecological patients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct direct patient assessments, education, and comprehensive health planningEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan, including women’s healthManage acute and chronic conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)Collaborate with Case Managers and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient careProvide continuity of care through follow-up and regular monitoring of patient outcomesRefer patients to specialty services when necessary and advocate for access to needed careParticipate in quality assurance initiatives to ensure optimal care deliveryProvide health promotion and disease prevention educationAct as a clinical resource to nursing and medical assistant staffConsult with collaborating physicians on complex casesAssist in staff education and clinical in-servicesOther duties as assigned
Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant ProgramLicensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of New JerseyMinimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing PADEA and CDS certifications requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsCommitment to serving underserved and multicultural communities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
