Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a confident, compassionate, and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who has experience or a strong interest in pain management, orthopedics, or spine care. You bring a clear and effective communication style, practice evidence-based medicine, and enjoy being part of a high-performing care team. Your primary role will be to help patients navigate chronic pain, participating in both diagnostic care and procedural interventions.

Position Overview

In this full-time outpatient role, you will assess and manage patients with a range of complex pain conditions, focusing on non-opioid treatments. You’ll also assist and perform image-guided procedures in collaboration with pain management physicians, offering a unique opportunity to grow your skills in interventional pain care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and obtain detailed patient histories
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional recovery and pain reduction
  • Diagnose and manage chronic and neuropathic pain, emphasizing non-opioid treatments
  • Assist with and perform image-guided procedures, including:
  • Epidural Steroid Injections
  • Medial Branch Blocks (MBB)
  • Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
  • Vertebral Augmentation
  • Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
  • Vertiflex & MILD procedures
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including imaging and labs
  • Educate patients on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in the EHR
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (excluding Puerto Rico)
  • Active, unrestricted Arizona NP or PA license
  • DEA certification with authority to prescribe Schedule II-IV substances
  • 1–2+ years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, or spine care preferred
  • Proficiency in interpreting imaging and lab results
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
