Job OverviewAdvanced Cardiovascular Consultant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dynamic and growing cardiovascular team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in cardiology who is passionate about patient care, clinical excellence, and collaborative teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, etc.)
- Assist in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care, including hospital rounds, consults, and follow-up visits
- Participate in pre- and post-operative care of cardiac patients, including those undergoing interventional and surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, other PAs/NPs, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care
- Assist in the development of care protocols, quality initiatives, and clinical research as applicable.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the NCCPA
- Active and unrestricted PA license in Florida (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of cardiology experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- ACLS and BLS certification required

Pay: $105,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
