Title: Physician Assistant Position Type: Long-term, temporary (1+ years) Location: Brooklyn, NY Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday Salary: $100 per hour Note: Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. No sponsorships available. Our client, NYC’s largest transportation government agency, is seeking a NYS licensed Physician Assistant to conduct Ready-for-Work assessments for internal employees. The physician will deliver efficient and professional patient care, with a strong focus on employee health services. Responsibilities:
- Perform Ready-for-Work assessments for agency employees, including work clearance evaluations and annual physicals.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with EMR usage and meeting agency-specific compliance requirements.
- Provide flexibility by covering shifts at various locations as needed.
- Offer recommendations for further care or follow-up as necessary.
- Comfortably manage a consistent and high volume of patient care.
Requirements:
- New York State Licensed Physician Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Preferred experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Hospital settings.
- Experience conducting work clearance assessments and providing employee health services.
- Comfortable working in a high-demand, high-volume environment. (You may typically see 15-20 patients per day.)
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with experience utilizing EMR systems.
- Willingness to work different shifts and cover multiple locations as required.
