Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly qualified Visiting Physician to join our team in the Macomb County MI area. As a Visiting Physician, you will be responsible for providing medical care to patients in their homes or other residential settings. You will work closely with a supervising physician and our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care possible. Your primary goal will be to improve the health and well-being of our patients, while also providing support and guidance to their families and caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform necessary medical procedures including gastric lavage and other interventions as required.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Stay current with advancements in medical practices and technologies.
Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with a valid Current LPN or PA licensure in the State of Michigan.
- Proven experience in primary care or relevant specialties such primary care
- Familiarity with inpatient care settings and the ability to manage complex cases effectively.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and experience in managing infectious diseases is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in medicine.
As a Visiting Physician, you will use your medical expertise and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to our patients. You will need to be able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals.
Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and caregivers will be essential to your success in this role. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in the use of electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care possible.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
