Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various nursing specialties, including acute pain management, internal medicine, and primary care. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, focusing on health coaching while providing comprehensive support to patients with diverse needs, including those with mental health challenges, substance use and addiction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide acute pain management and esthetic laser treatments as needed.
- Deliver health coaching to empower patients in managing their health conditions.
- Assist in family planning consultations and education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Perform medical procedures such as spinal taps when necessary.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Support inpatient care initiatives, ensuring a safe and effective environment for recovery.
Requirements
- Valid APRN license in the state of practice-Kentucky.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience in primary care, internal medicine, or related specialties preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with substance use, addictions and disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
