Join Burgess Plastic Surgery as a full time registered and certified Nurse Practitioner or Physicians assistant, working with a fun, loving plastic and aesthetic team in Lake Oswego, Oregon. We are looking for a creative and exciting new member to grow (but not age) with us. We have too many treatments to list so if you are interested in a variety of aesthetic treatments then you’ve found it!! We are happy to train you to become the next Burgess Beauty Provider! You will be working alongside an established surgeon that is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
The ideal candidate will be hard working and dedicated with a passion for aesthetics, surgery and helping patients look and feel their best. The candidate must be willing to learn, train and grow with our team. This is an opportunity to expand your career in aesthetics and plastic surgery.
- Assist in surgical post operative care including post op and follow up appointments and direct patient communication via phone calls and emails.
- Provide consultations and perform aesthetic procedures
- Proficiency and confidence in performing dermal filler injections
- Work with nurses, pharmacies and others as needed to assure optimum patient care
- Communicate with surgeon, patients, families regarding patients’ care, conditions and treatment plan
- Detailed patient charting and documentation
- Review patient charts for accuracy and confirmation of treatment plan
- Provide high quality patient care
- Schedule will be 4 to 5 days a week (around 40 hours per week)
“`Requirements“`
- For NP: Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, current registration and certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- For PA: Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to accurately document patient encounters
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Strong clinical research skills to stay updated on the latest medical advancements
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
