Full Job Description
Inner Healing Medical is a concierge-style, membership-based practice that blends the best of Functional, Integrative, and Preventive Medicine to serve our Members. We offer a unique medical home that blends primary care, advanced diagnostics, lifestyle medicine, and ancient healing traditions. Our approach honors the full human experience — physical, emotional, spiritual, and energetic.
We’re seeking a compassionate and clinically strong Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who’s passionate about root-cause healing, whole-person wellness, and collaborative care.
This is a unique opportunity to practice medicine with intention — in a serene, spa-like setting where you can spend time with patients, explore the why behind symptoms, and support long-term transformation. You’ll be joining a warm, mission-driven team that values growth, authenticity, and excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive wellness visits and follow-ups for adults and children
- Interpret and explain both functional and conventional labs with clarity and compassion
- Create personalized care plans integrating lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, and mind-body tools
- Address chronic concerns through root-cause and prevention-focused strategies
- Respond to patient messages with warmth and clinical precision
- Collaborate with our providers and wellness team in shared care planning
- Educate patients on the healing power of nutrition, movement, stress regulation, and self-awareness
- Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to evolving wellness programming
- Support patients in accessing in-office services (e.g. group classes)
What You Bring:
- Active Massachusetts NP or PA license with national board certification
- Licenses to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with authorization by the Board of Registration in Nursing to practice in an expanded role by the hire date
- DEA License
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification
- 3+ years of clinical experience in primary care, integrative, or lifestyle medicine
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing both adults and pediatric patients
- Curiosity, a growth mindset, and passion for lifelong learning
- Exceptional communication skills with a kind, collaborative presence
- Comfort with EHR systems (we use Athenahealth) and virtual messaging platforms
- Bonus if you have additional training in Functional Medicine and/or nutrition – but we’re open to training the right candidate
Our Ideal Teammate Is:
- Passionate about practicing medicine at a slower, more thoughtful pace
- Deeply curious and committed to getting to the root of health issues
- Energized by working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Excited to help shape a practice where prevention and healing, not just treating, is the goal
- Able and willing to incorporate aspects of primary care into integrative care delivery
Benefits & Perks:
- Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
- Health and dental insurance
- Generous paid time off
- Continuing education and professional development support, including Functional Medicine training
- Access to in-house wellness therapies such as infrared sauna, red light therapy, and community events
- Professional discounts on supplements and integrative health products
- Commuting benefits
- A serene, beautiful clinic setting nestled next to the Beaver Brook Reservation
- On-site fitness space to support your own well-being
- A supportive, collaborative, and mission-driven work culture
- The opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families
Schedule & Structure:
- Full-time, 32–35 clinical hours per week
- Longer appointment times for deep, relationship-based care
- 100% outpatient
- Occasional coverage via secure communication tools.
