Who We’re Looking For
You are a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a keen interest in pain management. Whether you’re experienced or eager to grow in this specialty, you’re ready to:
- Build meaningful, long-term patient relationships
- Manage chronic conditions with precision and empathy
- Prepare patients for advanced interventional procedures such as:
- Epidural Steroid Injections
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
- Medial Branch Blocks
- Kyphoplasty
- Minuteman Implants
You value clear communication, teamwork, and structured medication management guidelines. You’re proactive, dependable, and focused on delivering excellent care in a supportive outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, labs, and imaging
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as needed
- Educate patients and families on pain management techniques
- Administer in-office procedures (e.g., joint/nerve block injections)
- Coordinate care with physicians and specialist referrals
- Review prescriptions, PDMP reports, and refill requests
- Discharge non-compliant patients per established protocols
- Participate in annual “second call” rotation (minimal after-hours involvement)
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based NP or PA program (excludes Puerto Rico)
- Active and unrestricted Arizona license (NP or PA)
- National board certification
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS certification
- Pain management or outpatient experience is a plus (but not required—training available)
