Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pain Management Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients suffering from chronic pain. This position involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, requiring a strong understanding of pain management protocols and the ability to perform physical examinations, administer injections, and utilize telehealth systems effectively.

Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients to assess pain levels and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Administer injections for pain relief as part of treatment protocols.
• Utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving pain management strategies.
• Provide patient education on pain management techniques and lifestyle modifications.
• Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience

• Previous experience in a pain management setting is preferred, with a focus on both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Familiarity with public health principles as they relate to chronic pain management.
• Experience administering injections is essential.
• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus but not required.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems for patient documentation and management.

Pay: $135,462.00 – $142,737.00 per year
