CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, is a rapidly growing provider of occupational health services with over 50 locations nationwide. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled PA or NP to join our team.
Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Schedule & Pay:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Pay Range: $67.00-$70.00 an hour
What You’ll Do:
- Perform minor surgical and therapeutic procedures, including suturing, injections, immunizations, burn care, and foreign body removal (subcutaneous and ocular).
- Provide occupational health services, including DOT exams and treatment of workers’ compensation injuries.
- Conduct pre-employment physicals and other job-related medical evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Serve as a clinical leader, ensuring high-quality patient care.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in occupational medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care.
- Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a healthcare team.
- Strong clinical skills with experience in both fast-track and main emergency department settings.
- Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
- Active PA or NP license in the applicable state.
- Current DEA license.
- BCLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS certification.
Additional Requirement:
- Experience with occupational health protocols and familiarity with OSHA and workers’ compensation guidelines preferred.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and ability to provide appropriate medical clearance and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and other providers as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, employers, and case managers.
- EMR proficiency and ability to complete documentation in a timely manner.
