This position is within Womack Army Medical Center’s Department of Medicine, Internal Medicine Service, Fort Bragg NC.
Incumbent will be working over nights on an inpatient ward. Hours are generally 1900-0700 but can be flexed to cover other shifts as required by mission.

Responsibilities:
As a Physician Assistant (Internal Medicine) your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Serve on an inpatient medical ward team in delivering health care for inpatients in a ward, step-down and ICU environments.
- Provide consultative services with physician over-site within the inpatient ward.
- Provide out-patient services within the Internal Medicine Clinic for acute, routine, inpatient follow up or consultative type appointments.
- Record entries into patient’s chart, including daily progress notes with test results, treatment plans and outcomes.
- Write prescriptions and order the administration of medications for patients in accordance with approved treatment protocols.
Qualifications:
US Citizenship Required
All Applicants must be licensed as a Physician Assistant by the recognized licensing agency of a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Successful completion of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for continuing medical education (CME) and re-certification.
At least one year as a physician assistant
