Are you a skilled and motivated Surgical Physician Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity in the field of Orthopaedics? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Surgical Physician Assistant.
[Responsibilities]:
- Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons to provide comprehensive patient care in both surgical and non-surgical settings.
- Assist in surgical procedures, including preoperative preparation, intraoperative support, and postoperative care.
- Conduct patient evaluations, diagnose conditions, and create treatment plans under the supervision of the attending physician.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and MRIs.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, surgical procedures, and postoperative care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in orthopaedic surgery and treatment techniques.
[Requirements]:
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in both New Jersey and New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical orthopaedics (new graduates with relevant clinical rotations may be considered).
- Strong knowledge of orthopaedic surgical procedures and postoperative care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
