Nurse Practitioner Job Description
OverviewPhysicians Medical Group of SWFL is a dynamic, multidisciplinary medical practice committed to delivering patient-centered care through an integrated approach. Our team includes medical doctors, chiropractors, physical rehabilitation specialists, and other providers, all working together to provide non-surgical, opioid-free solutions to musculoskeletal and joint-related conditions.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled APRN to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to play a central role in patient care, focusing on joint injections, orthopedic assessments, and integrative treatment planning.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations focused on musculoskeletal and joint conditions
- Administer image-guided joint injections and trigger point injections
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide follow-up care, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments accordingly
- Maintain detailed, accurate medical documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Educate patients on treatment options, lifestyle changes, and recovery strategies
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to ensure integrated care delivery
- Supervise IV infusion
Qualifications
- Active APRN license in the state of Florida (or eligibility)
- National Board Certification (FNP, ANP, or AGNP)
- Current DEA license or eligibility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred
- Prior experience in physical medicine, orthopedics, pain management, or rehabilitation
- Experience with (or willingness to be trained in) joint injections and musculoskeletal ultrasound
- Familiarity with integrative or non-surgical treatment models
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaborative care
