Job Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Location: Peoria, AZ

Hours & Schedule: Full-Time

Work Environment: Acute care; high-acuity clinical setting, including post-operative, post-discharge, and medically complex patient care.

Travel Required: None

Salary / Hourly Rate: $150,000–$200,000 / year (Collections Model – Guaranteed)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our acute care team in Peoria, AZ. This role focuses on the management of patients with complex and acute needs, including those recovering from surgery or recently discharged. Providers in this role are compensated through a collections-based model with a guaranteed minimum annual income.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for medically complex patients
  • Manage acute cases across post-operative, step-down, and post-discharge settings
  • Conduct thorough physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Collaborate closely with attending physicians, hospitalists, nursing staff, and specialists
  • Prescribe and manage medications and therapies within approved protocols
  • Deliver patient and family education, particularly around pre- and post-operative care
  • Monitor for complications and surgical site issues
  • Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to discharge planning
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation of all patient care

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (U.S.-based)
  • Active and unrestricted state license in Arizona (or ability to obtain)
  • Board certification as NP or PA
  • 3–4 years of acute care experience preferred, but not required for highly capable new graduates
