The Role:
We are looking for a 1099 contractor Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a Florida license.
This contract allows you to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA’s disability benefits program.
You will see veterans in-person at our Tallahassee office.
On a typical day you will see 3 to 5 Veterans.
This position is for 2 days per week; specifically Tuesday and Wednesday.
Responsibilities:
-Complete a thorough review of medical records on EHR
-Conduct an in-person physical assessment
-Submit the information gathered through an online portal
-Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times

Requirements:
-Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in FL
-Must carry Malpractice Insurance
-Will need current BLS certification
Qualifications:
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to stay on task and meet time requirements
-Ability to analyze data, complete online forms, and write medical opinions
-Ability to proficiently use a computer
-Ability to withstand heavy charting 😉
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $400.00 per day
