Job OverviewWe are seeking a bilingual dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. This role will involve working in a teaching hospital setting, engaging in clinical research, and utilizing telehealth technologies to enhance patient outcomes.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations, including taking medical histories and performing physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including catheterization and other necessary interventions.
  • Manage acute care situations, providing timely interventions for patients in need of urgent care.
  • Utilize eClinicalWorks systems for documentation and patient management.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives to contribute to advancements in medical practices.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
  • Engage in pediatric care as needed, ensuring appropriate treatment for younger patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in radiation therapy and other relevant medical technologies.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-9 coding and its application in clinical settings.
  • Experience or familiarity with telehealth practices is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of medicine.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $113,253.00 – $118,986.00 per year
