Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The High Desert Cardiopulmonary Medical Group and High Desert Sleep Disorder Center has been in practice for 25 years and is accredited by the AASM for 25 years. This role requires strong clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of anatomy. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings, including Level II Trauma Centers.
- Manage patients in both acute and chronic care settings, including internal medicine and addiction counseling.
- Utilize ventilatory support equipment and manage durable medical equipment (DME) for patient care.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
- Experience in Sleep Medicine preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy and proficiency in performing procedures such as spinal taps.
- Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: $142,442.00 – $149,083.00 per year
