Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Infectious Disease Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on a wide range of medical conditions associated with infectious disease management. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with acute, chronic, and/or potential health problems.
- Demonstrates knowledge of etiologies, risk factors, pathophysiology, and presentation of Infectious Disease conditions.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain clinical documentation according to hospital and group practice.
- Follows ethical principles regarding patient confidentiality, informed consent, and unanticipated adverse outcomes.
- Demonstrate the highest level of accountability for professional practice.
- Continuously seeks opportunities for clinical advancement, knowledge, and skill attainment.
- Serves as an advocate for patients and families navigating the health care system.
Experience
- License and current registration to practice in Michigan.
- One year of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for it upon hire.
- CPR and ACLS certification
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
