We are looking for passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) to join our team across our four Michigan locations: Big Rapids, Grand Rapids, Stanwood, and Reed City. Position Overview: As an NP/PA at MPCP, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality primary care. You will work closely with physicians and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, including patient assessments, physical exams, diagnostics, treatment, and patient education. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team while helping our community thrive.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide patient assessments, evaluations, and treatments in collaboration with the medical team
- Perform physical exams and procedures, diagnose and treat common medical issues, and consult with physicians on complex cases
- Order and interpret routine lab tests, document care in the EMR, prescribe medications, and manage patient care
- Participate in health maintenance visits, immunizations, family planning education, and preventive health counseling
- Engage in Quality Improvement initiatives and peer reviews
- Collaborate in a team-based care approach to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Participate in all Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition and transformation activities
- Perform duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer and administration
Position Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Licensure to practice as an NP/PA in the State of Michigan
- DEA certification required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse patient populations
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when necessary
- Ability to manage patient care efficiently, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of community resources and healthcare support systems
Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or equivalent certification

Physical Demands:
- Ability to perform a full range of physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Capability to work under stress in a busy healthcare environment
License/Certification Requirements:
- Valid Michigan State NP/PA License
- State of Michigan Controlled Substance License (if applicable)
- Federal DEA License
- Board Certification (or eligible)

Pay: $70,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
