Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant

Founded in November of 2020, Pain Physicians of Wisconsin is a group of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and a great group of support staff serving the southeast region of Wisconsin. - Conduct Physicals.
- Collaborate with MD/ Anesthesiologist
- Monitor plan’s effectiveness to optimize patient’s quality of life
- Use prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in accordance with state/federal laws and regulations
- Order Tests and Interpret test results.
- Order diagnostic tests.
- Record patient medical history.
- Communicate results to patients.
- Prescribe medications.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing
- Written and Verbal communication skills
- Time management skills
- Empathy and compassion
- The ability to provide accurate, effective care
- The ability to work under pressure for long hours
Licenses & Certifications
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the State of Wisconsin.
- BLS certified or obtain certification within three months of hire. ACLS certified or obtain certification within the first year of hire.
Pre-Employment Testing
This position requires the following pre-employment testing:
Criminal & Caregiver Background Check, renewed every four years
Professional Reference Check
TB & Rubella Screen
Drug Screen
