Advanced Practitioner Opportunity – Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Join our dedicated team of 14 pediatric EM faculty and 4 pediatric APPs at Baystate Medical Center. We value collaborative relationships and work/life balance and we have worked hard to build and maintain an excellent team culture.
- Our 18-bed pediatric ED sees ~30,000 visits/year in our state-of-the-art facility.
· APPs rotate through all levels of acuity with pediatric patients.
· Enjoy an academic environment where you will work closely with residents and fellows, precept APP students if desired, learn bedside ultrasound, and participate in regular educational activities.
· 9-hour shifts, mix of days, evenings and overnights.
· Qualifications:Board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. At least one year of Advanced Practice experience in emergency medicine is required.
