OverviewI am seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant who is trained or seeks additional training in general surgery, plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, aesthetics and hand surgery to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to patients across various settings, including outpatient and inpatient environments. The Physician Assistant will work with one or two physicians and obtain hands on training and experience.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions under the supervision of a physician.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide patient education on health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Assist in outpatient clinics as well as inpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with coding standards.
Experience
- A degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
- Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of esthetic laser treatment, botox, HA fillers and other techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
