Overview:
Running Springs Primary & Urgent Care is currently looking for a Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. Our facility offers a wide range of services including Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Specialty Care, catering to patients of all ages. As a Physician Assistant at our practice, you will collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care to a diverse community. Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough patient assessments encompassing medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic procedures.
– Collaborate with physicians to devise and execute comprehensive treatment plans.
– Perform various medical procedures such as family planning services, phlebotomy, and administering injections.
– Educate patients on disease prevention strategies, health promotion techniques, and the management of chronic illnesses.
– Support clinical research initiatives when required.
– Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and effective patient care coordination.
– Provide clear follow-up care instructions.
– Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems accurately to document patient encounters.
– Offer addiction counseling and health coaching as necessary.
Qualifications:
– Possession of current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
– Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
– Profound understanding of medical principles, practices, and procedures.
– Familiarity with the usage and management of durable medical equipment (DME).
– Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
– Capability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
