Join a team committed to advancing medical science! As a Physician Assistant at our clinical research facility, you will play a vital role in supporting our Principal Investigators with medical oversight of studies, discussing consent, offering scientific and medical insight into protocols, and ensuring subject safety. You’ll collaborate closely with site staff, CRCs, and sponsors, helping to bring innovative treatments to patients. Preferred candidates will have prior clinical trials experience. This is a site-based role in Houston, Texas.
Day to Day Include:
- Serve as Sub-Investigator per the delegation of authority, ensuring compliance with informed consent and IRB requirements.
- Oversee and review the documentation of subject’s medical history and physical examination information
- Research investigational compounds to assess subject safety.
- Evaluate and sign off on collected medical data.
- Attend internal meetings for logistics, protocol discussions, and client communications.
- Participate in internal and external training for licensure and malpractice compliance; train staff on new procedures.
- Review subject study charts for inclusion/exclusion
- Discuss and administer Informed Consent Form
Required Experience:
- Certification as Physician Assistant (or equivalent) with an active license in Texas
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Clinical Research experience preferred
