Physician Assistant – Urgent Care

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Urgent Care Clinics. Join our growing practice seeing patients at our eleven urgent care locations in the Minneapolis-St Paul area and surrounding suburbs.

Practice Details:

• Join our team of 45+ urgent care providers.
• Our Edina location is our primary need at this time, with the potential to float to additional sites.
• Patient encounters average 20-30 patients per day in a 10 hour shift.
• Opening(s): 1- flexible FTE from .6 to 1.0– Flexible schedule, working an average every third weekend (more weekend available if desired).
• No Call required.
• As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

M Health Fairview Urgent Care Clinics are in eleven locations:

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency training program.
• BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA.
• Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges if applicable.

M Health Fairview Urgent Care Clinics are in eleven locations:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• BC/BE through NCCPA.
• Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).

• At least 2 years of previous Urgent Care, Primary Care, ER, or Hospitalist experience as a Physician Assistant.
